About Us

The Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy UK (ADMP UK) serves to uphold professional standards within the field of Dance Movement Psychotherapy (DMP), overseeing the professional codes of conduct for the profession. 

ADMP UK also supports the development of Dance Movement Psychotherapy (DMP) in the UK and internationally, fostering communication among Dance Movement Psychotherapists, and promoting the use of DMP throughout the UK and abroad.

ADMP UK is an organisational member of the European Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy (EADMT) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) within the Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy College (HIPC).

Our Regulators

ADMP is as an organisational member of the Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy College known as HIPC, which is compliant with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) standards and regulations for practice.

UKCP as an umbrella organisation is compliant with the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
